GUMBO. Nothing says a trip to the Big Easy quite like a spicy pot of Chicken and Sausage Gumbo. In this class, we'll virtually travel to New Orleans to learn the basics of creole cooking and one of the most important contributions to American cuisine. You'll learn about the 'holy trinity,' how to build a roux, and how to layer flavor to build the complexity of one of New Orlean’s most iconic dishes.

Your class is led by Chef Gason, live from New Orleans. Chef Gason has been the private chef to NFL and NBA Players and A-List celebrities. You’ll hear about his restaurant adventures, and maybe even a story from the time he was on Food Network’s Chopped.
